Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how the Dopamind iOS app handles information. It also covers the public Dopamind website.

2. Information processed on your device

When you grant the relevant iOS permissions, Dopamind may process these signals locally:

• Device activity signals, including phone pickups and app switching.
• Sleep consistency information you authorize Dopamind to read from Apple Health.
• Workout, activity, or movement information you authorize Dopamind to read.
• Your Focus Score, score history, trends, and in-app wins generated from those signals.

This processing happens inside the app. Dopamind does not transmit these signals or the resulting Focus Score to Dopamind.

3. Information collected by Dopamind

Dopamind does not collect personal information or app-usage information from the iOS app. The app does not require your name, email address, phone number, account, contacts, precise location, or advertising identifier.

Dopamind does not include its own analytics, advertising, tracking, or remote crash-reporting service. The website does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or marketing cookies.

4. How on-device information is used

Dopamind uses the signals you authorize only to calculate and display your Focus Score, history, trends, and related app features. The information is not used for advertising, marketing profiles, eligibility decisions, or data mining.

5. Apple Health and device permissions

Dopamind reads only the Apple Health and device-activity categories you choose to authorize. Dopamind does not write information to Apple Health. Apple controls the permission screen and lets you grant or revoke access at any time through the relevant iOS Settings controls.

Apple Health and movement information is not sold, shared with advertisers, or used for advertising or marketing.

6. Sharing

Dopamind does not share your app signals, Apple Health information, movement information, or Focus Score with third parties because Dopamind does not receive that information.

7. App Store and purchases

Apple may process information when you download Dopamind, manage a subscription, or make an App Store purchase. Apple handles that information under its own terms and privacy policy. Dopamind does not receive your payment-card details.

8. Retention and deletion

Dopamind retains locally generated app information on your device for as long as the app needs it to provide its features. Deleting Dopamind removes information stored by Dopamind from that device. Information already stored in Apple Health remains under your control in Apple Health.

Because Dopamind does not maintain a user account or receive your app information, Dopamind has no server-side user record to access, export, correct, or delete.

9. Your choices

You can decline a requested permission. You can also revoke a permission later through iOS Settings. Features that rely on a revoked signal may stop updating, but access to unrelated app features will not require that permission.

10. Security

Dopamind limits exposure by processing information on-device and relying on the protections provided by iOS, including app sandboxing and device security. No system can guarantee absolute security, but keeping the information off a Dopamind server removes a major category of risk.

11. Children

Dopamind is not directed to children under 13, and Dopamind does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to this policy

If Dopamind changes how it handles information, this policy and its effective date will be updated before the changed practice applies. App Store privacy disclosures will also be updated when required.
